Listen to the story “ Stick and Stone” by clicking on the link below.
Muddle is a combination of the words mud and puddle to most accurately describe the place Stick was stuck.
Create a list of other words that combine to make a new word. How many can you come up with?
Next, can you create some new words by combining two words? Put your new words in a sentence to show their meaning.
For Example - gross and awesome - grossome

Friendship is a compound word. How many compound words can you list?
Paint a friendship rock. Give your rock to someone to brighten their day. Perhaps you could make a friendship bracelet and do the same thing! Or - draw a picture of you and a friend doing something fun!
What makes a good friend? List as many traits as you can.

Today April 22 is Earth Day. It is important that we do our part to help the environment. Create a poster of ways you and your family support our earth! See the attached the poster to spark your imagination. You can create your poster on paper, in slides, docs, or any other program you are using. Please forward a photo or the poster to me so I can see your creativity.
Please watch the video below. Once you have watched it please find something in your house to represent the Truffula seed. Then create a case that will protect the truffula seed until there is a time for it to be planted. Remember it will need to be protected form getting wet, to warm, to cold, and from the wind. Have fun creating the case. Send me a photo when you have finished your creation. And remember you can only use what you have in your house.
