You will have to give a presentation to the class. During your presentation to the class you must show them each page of your Design Activity Portfolio. Do not read your portfolio to the class! Summarize what you did for each step and how you decided on your best solution. Show the class your prototype and how it works. Then, evaluate your prototype for the class using the outline of the essay below as a guide. Tell us what your prototype does well, and what should be improved.
Be honest and forthcoming with both the good points and the flaws. A good designer admits the shortcomings of their design and describes how they would work to overcome them if they had more time and/or money.
Each member of your group MUST participate (i.e. talk) in your presentation. Your presentation should be about 10 minutes long. You will be asked questions at the end of your presentation, both by your classmates and by me. Questions may be open to the entire group, or directed at a particular student. Make sure you're prepared.
Design a couple of tests to see if your design meets the specifications outlined at the beginning of the project. On this page write an essay describing what your solution does well and what needs to be improved. The essay should follow this outline:
