2. Please return ALL LIBRARY BOOKS we are still missing a few.

3. Tomorrow dismissal is at 12:30. There is NO LUNCH but an extended Recess. PLEASE ensure your child has WATER given the forecast humidex of 30 degrees for tomorrow.

4. Reusable Bag - to clean out or lockers, cubbies etc….students should bring an extra bag or two to bring remaining work, supplies and belongings home. MOST things have gone home!

Further to our April 13, 2022 memo regarding masking and COVID-19 protocols, please be advised that, in consultation with Public Health, the District has determined that current masking protocols in schools and on school buses will remain in effect until May 20, 2022. Commencing Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the masking protocol will become family choice. However, masking remains highly recommended for students and staff. By continuing to strongly encourage masking, it is our hope that it will continue to reduce the transition of germs and viruses within the school environment and help us preserve valuable instructional time and extracurricular activities as we near the end of the school year.

3. Please return ALL LIBRARY BOOKS we are still missing a few.

4. Our Little Green Thumb Celebration was FABULOUS today!! We had an amazing Virtual Beekeeper Presentation from Karen Youden in Logy Bay who was so informative and interesting. We had a Sunflower Planting Booth outside and we had cake and milk in the afternoon along with Phys. Ed and Music. What an incredible day!!!

5. NO Matt’s Morning Munch Breakfast Club and NO SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM this week. They can bring an extra snack to eat before class. Please ensure your child has lunch with them this week.

6. Reusable Bag - as we begin to clean out or lockers, cubbies etc….students should bring an extra bag or two to bring their work, supplies and belongings home. MOST things have gone home!

7. Dress appropriately for the weather as we will still be going outside most days. Remember to keep a hat and maybe mittens or gloves in your school bag. You should also have snowpants and a warm jacket and boots. (Remember your inside sneakers especially on Phys. Ed. days)

كان الاحتفال بإبهامنا الأخضر الصغير رائعًا اليوم !! كان لدينا عرض تقديمي افتراضي مدهش لمربي النحل من كارين يودن في لوجي باي والذي كان غنيًا بالمعلومات وممتعًا. كان لدينا كشك زراعة عباد الشمس في الخارج وتناولنا الكعك والحليب في فترة ما بعد الظهر مع فيز. إد والموسيقى. يا له من يوم رائع !!!

Our day could be tomorrow. Our class voted to wear BLUE on Sports Day as a class colour. Any colour blue will be great!! Students should come dressed for the weather in layers with hats, water bottles, sunblock (No spray sunblock please). Stay tuned to Twitter and the radio for announcements each morning.

Read for 30 minutes nightly - even weekends and also check the Google Classroom daily ( try our Class Wordle or make your own and share the link in our Google Classroom stream for others to try), you can do Zorbits Math and / or Prodigy. I have also introduced EVERFI , PINK CAT GAMES and BLOOKET.

2. Review your multiplication facts regularly. (Grade 3s up to 5X5 and Grade 4s up to 12X12

3. Pleaase return ALL LIBRARY BOOKS as soon as possible

4. Phys. Ed. (8:30 AM), Outdoor Wellness Play, Chromebooks and Passion Project Presentations tomorrow

7. Dress appropriately for the weather as we will still be going outside most days. Remember to keep a hat and maybe mittens or gloves in your school bag. You should also have snowpants and a warm jacket and boots. (Remember your inside sneakers especially on Phys. Ed. days)

Further to our April 13, 2022 memo regarding masking and COVID-19 protocols, please be advised that, in consultation with Public Health, the District has determined that current masking protocols in schools and on school buses will remain in effect until May 20, 2022. Commencing Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the masking protocol will become family choice. However, masking remains highly recommended for students and staff. By continuing to strongly encourage masking, it is our hope that it will continue to reduce the transition of germs and viruses within the school environment and help us preserve valuable instructional time and extracurricular activities as we near the end of the school year.

Read for 30 minutes nightly - even weekends and also check the Google Classroom daily ( try our Class Wordle or make your own and share the link in our Google Classroom stream for others to try), you can do Zorbits Math and / or Prodigy. I have also introduced EVERFI , PINK CAT GAMES and BLOOKET.

2. Review your multiplication facts regularly. (Grade 3s up to 5X5 and Grade 4s up to 12X12

3. Grade 4 Choir, Outdoor Wellness Play and a virtual Field Trip to Nova Scotia tomorrow..

4. Passion Projects: Students should now be finishing up their passion projects at home. Projects should be completed by tomorrow; Friday, June 3rd. Check for the presentation schedule. It is posted in the Google Classroom. Students will be presenting their Passion Projects all next week (June 6th-10th).

5. Field Trip - Permission Slip and Note went home. Please return the signed form and $8.00 by Monday, June 6th.

6. Weekly Words / Read at Home Books - Some students have weekly words and / or Home Reading Books to read and to review at home. Please return these each Friday.

7. Dress appropriately for the weather as we will still be going outside most days. Remember to keep a hat and maybe mittens or gloves in your school bag. You should also have snowpants and a warm jacket and boots. (Remember your inside sneakers especially on Phys. Ed. days)

Further to our April 13, 2022 memo regarding masking and COVID-19 protocols, please be advised that, in consultation with Public Health, the District has determined that current masking protocols in schools and on school buses will remain in effect until May 20, 2022. Commencing Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the masking protocol will become family choice. However, masking remains highly recommended for students and staff. By continuing to strongly encourage masking, it is our hope that it will continue to reduce the transition of germs and viruses within the school environment and help us preserve valuable instructional time and extracurricular activities as we near the end of the school year.

1. Read for 30 minutes nightly - even weekends and also check the Google Classroom daily ( try our Class Wordle or make your own and share the link in our Google Classroom stream for others to try), you can do Zorbits Math and / or Prodigy. I have also introduced EVERFI , PINK CAT GAMES and BLOOKET.

2. Review your multiplication facts regularly. (Grade 3s up to 5X5 and Grade 4s up to 12X12

3. Phys. Ed. (8:30 AM), Outdoor Wellness Play and Chromebooks tomorrow

4. Passion Projects: Students should now be finishing up their passion projects at home. Projects should be completed by Friday, June 3rd. Check for an Email later today with the presentation schedule. Students will be presenting their Passion Projects all next week (June 6th-10th).

5. Field Trip - Permission Slip and Note went home today. Please return the signed form and $8.00 by Monday, June 6th.

6. Covid-19 Test Kits - More went home with students today

7. Weekly Words / Read at Home Books - Some students have weekly words and / or Home Reading Books to read and to review at home. Please return these each Friday.

8. Dress appropriately for the weather as we will still be going outside most days. Remember to keep a hat and maybe mittens or gloves in your school bag. You should also have snowpants and a warm jacket and boots. (Remember your inside sneakers especially on Phys. Ed. days)

Further to our April 13, 2022 memo regarding masking and COVID-19 protocols, please be advised that, in consultation with Public Health, the District has determined that current masking protocols in schools and on school buses will remain in effect until May 20, 2022. Commencing Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the masking protocol will become family choice. However, masking remains highly recommended for students and staff. By continuing to strongly encourage masking, it is our hope that it will continue to reduce the transition of germs and viruses within the school environment and help us preserve valuable instructional time and extracurricular activities as we near the end of the school year.

Students are creating either a Google Doc, Google Slideshow or Jamboard to present to the class to have on the screen or they may do a cardboard presentation board with their information, pictures etc… whatever works best for the student and their family. They other Google Slides for the Passion Project is just a working copy to help it is not a requirement. Stay tuned for a presentation schedule soon.

5. Mars Rover Assignment in Google Classroom - This is an ongoing assignment so stay tuned.

6. Weekly Words / Read at Home Books - Some students have weekly words and / or Home Reading Books to read and to review at home. Please return these each Friday.

1. Read for 30 minutes nightly - even weekends and also check the Google Classroom daily ( try our Class Wordle or make your own and share the link in our Google Classroom stream for others to try), you can do Zorbits Math and / or Prodigy. I have also introduced EVERFI , PINK CAT GAMES and BLOOKET.

2. Review your multiplication facts regularly. (Grade 3s up to 5X5 and Grade 4s up to 12X12

3. Grade 4 Choir and Outdoor Wellness Play tomorrow

4. School Supplies: Many students are need of pencils and some other supplies to get us through the remainder of the year. Please check with your child.

5. Passion Projects: Students should now be working on their passion projects at home. If you need any assistance or support please reach out. Students are creating either a Google Doc, Google Slideshow or Jamboard to present to the class to have on the screen or they may do a cardboard presentation board with their information, pictures etc… whatever works best for the student and their family. They other Google Slides for the Passion Project is just a working copy to help it is not a requirement.

6. Mars Rover Assignment in Google Classroom - This is an ongoing assignment so stay tuned.

7. Weekly Words / Read at Home Books - Some students have weekly words and / or Home Reading Books to read and to review at home. Please return these each Friday.

8. Dress appropriately for the weather as we will still be going outside most days. Remember to keep a hat and maybe mittens or gloves in your school bag. You should also have snowpants and a warm jacket and boots. (Remember your inside sneakers especially on Phys. Ed. days)

Further to our April 13, 2022 memo regarding masking and COVID-19 protocols, please be advised that, in consultation with Public Health, the District has determined that current masking protocols in schools and on school buses will remain in effect until May 20, 2022. Commencing Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the masking protocol will become family choice. However, masking remains highly recommended for students and staff. By continuing to strongly encourage masking, it is our hope that it will continue to reduce the transition of germs and viruses within the school environment and help us preserve valuable instructional time and extracurricular activities as we near the end of the school year.

Masks with three layers are recommended. This could be a three-layer cloth mask or three-ply disposable non-medical mask. Whichever mask you choose should be comfortable and completely cover your mouth and nose with no gaps.
