1921 The Civil Town of Winegar (present day Presque Isle) initially included an area that was subsequently separated and became the Civil Town of Winchester.
1930 Census counts 539 persons in Winegar.
1936 Rail service to Winegar ends; Winegar population falls to 100.
1939 Presque Isle State Graded School built
1946 American Legion Winegar Post 480 established.
1947 Heinke Sawmill on Presque Isle Lake.
1955 Winegar renamed Presque Isle by vote of the residents
1972 Presque Isle Lions club formed
1980 Presque Isle Heritage society was formed
1978 Presque Isle Hardware and Sports is purchased by the Sitkiewitz's from Chet Dumask
1993 Presque Isle Graded School is recognized as a historical site
2000 Census counts 513 people in the town of Presque Isle
2001 Presque Isle Hardware and Sports dissolved
2015 Pipke Park formed on site of walleye rearing ponds
