About me

I am a professor in the Department of Shipping and Transportation Management at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) in Taiwan. My main field of interest is behavioral modeling in transport. I am especially interested in issues related to air travel and tourism, aviation and environment, new transport and information technology, and travel survey methods.

I earned my Ph. D. degree at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Tainan, Taiwan (1999). Previously I was the Head of the Department of Aviation and Maritime Management in Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) in Taiwan (2009.08-2012.07). I also visited Purdue University in the US as a visiting scholar from September 2007 to August 2008 hosted by Dr. Srinivas Peeta.
