The District School Counseling Team believes:

• All students can achieve when provided support that meets their diverse learning needs.

• All students have the right to participate in the school counseling program.

• All students’ differences and needs are considered in the planning and implementation of the school counseling program.

The school counseling program will:

• Be designed to meet the needs of unique and diverse learners with each student receiving the services needed to achieve success.

• Use the many combined resources of the school staff, families and community partnerships to address the academic, career, personal and social developmental needs of all students

• Be evaluated yearly by the district school counseling team on specific program goals and agreed-upon student competencies.
