Cash Gifts
Cash tax-deductible contributions may be given to the Foundation for any of the reasons listed. This may be the easiest way to give. You can do this by mail with any check(s) made payable to the NJUHSD Foundation at:

Gifts of Stock or Securities
In order to process and acknowledge stock and securities gives, we need to know the number of shares and the type of stock you are donating. Please contact the NJUHSD Foundation by mail or email for a specific contact person to discuss this option.
Charitable Remainder Trust
Income from the trust is paid to donor for life and on death, the assets pass to the Nevada Joint Union High School District Foundation. Notice of the trust should be provided to the NJUHSD Foundation at:

The Bequest
In a will you can make a gift of a specific dollar amount or a percentage of an estate to be received by the Foundation at a later date/time.
Living (Revocable) Trusts
A trust, which can avoid probate, possibly reduce estate taxes and still provide a benefit to the High School District at a later date/time.
Life Insurance
Affordable term life insurance can grow into a major gift to the Foundation in the future.
Life Income Plans
Provide income and tax advantages for the donor now while qualifying a deferred gift to the Foundation such as an Irrevocable Charitable Trust.
Funds raised by the Foundation will be distributed at the discretion of the Foundation Board, or you may designate the use of the funds as follows:
Funds may be used for a specific department or activity at the donor's discretion; or
A memorial fund may be established with the principal to be held and income used for scholarships; or
Principal and income may be used over a period of time for a designated purpose.
Your tax-deductable contribution to the Foundation will directly benefit the educational programs and students of the schools within the Nevada Union High School District. There are many ways to contribute to the Foundation. Your gift can be earmarked for a specific school, a specific district program, a specific type of scholarship in memorial for or in honor of the person of your choice, or in support of an existing scholarship.
