When students enroll at Nevada Union the library issues them a Chromebook that they will keep until they graduate or transfer schools. Students are expected to bring their fully charged Chromebook to school every day. The library has a limited number of loaner Chromebooks available on a first come first serve basis, as well as charging stations. If you are experiencing technical difficulties, please contact the Technology Help Desk. If your Chromebook is in need of repair bring it to the Chromebook desk in the library.
Chromebook insurance is available for purchace for $100 for four years or $30 for one year in the Student Store, the Library, or through the Aeires Parent Portal until September 15th. After that date Chromebooks are subject to inspection prior to being insured. Chargers are not covered by insurance. Families are liable for repair costs of uninsured Chromebooks.
The Mobile Device Contract is part of the Annual Notification that is signed by guardians. By signing the Annual Notification, you are agreeing to the terms of this contract.
