Computer Aided Design and Engineering

Several different Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Engineering software packages were available at NJIT for the purpose of gaining basic knowledge and skills that can translate over to be used in a professional setting. Popular engineering software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, PTC Creo, and ANSYS were all available for use.

Many of the projects completed in our CAD courses involved using multiple programs such as creating a solid model in Creo or Solidworks and then importing it into ANSYS for simulation. The next few pages show a few of the many projects that have been completed using CAD/CAE software.
