Hello, I'm Mibrar Reza (he/him), a passionate and driven Mechanical Engineer who earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering. My journey blends academic excellence with hands-on experience in product development, sheet metal design, and medical device innovation. I thrive on solving complex engineering challenges and bringing creative ideas to life through precision, collaboration, and commitment to real-world impact.
Outside the classroom, I thrive in collaborative environments. From 2022 to 2024, I served as Control Surface, Electronics, Wing Coordinator and Public Relations Officer for the SAE Aero Design Team (NJIT_Flylanders), where I led technical design efforts and fostered team cohesion. I also proudly served as Lead Event Coordinator for the Bangladeshi Students' Association at NJIT, organizing cultural events that built community and celebrated heritage.
Professionally, I’ve contributed as a Mechanical Designer at Electro-Mechanical Corporation (Line Power), a General Engineer Intern with NASA NCAS program, and a Teaching Assistant at NJIT, gaining exposure to aerospace systems, power control devices, and advanced prototyping. My portfolio includes projects like a Nuclear Fusion Thermal Generator, Flying Wing Aircraft, and an Automatic CPR Device, reflecting my commitment to innovation and real-world impact.
When I’m not engineering, you’ll find me hiking, camping, cooking, or fixing cars activities that fuel my curiosity and problem-solving instincts. I also have a soft spot for cats, whose independence and elegance I deeply admire.
With a blend of technical expertise, creative thinking, and leadership experience, I strive to make a meaningful contribution to the world whether through engineering breakthroughs, community engagement, or entrepreneurial ventures.
