Konstantina was inducted into the NSF ART Integrated Student Ambassador Network (ARTISAN) program. As part of the NSF ART (Accelerating Research Translation) initiative in collaboration with the Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (TIP) directorate, the ARTISAN program connects students with translational research opportunities, promotes innovation, and fosters entrepreneurial thinking.

The paper investigates the influence of surfactants on the glass transition temperature (Tg) of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles, a key factor in drug release behavior.
