Guangliang participated in the Colgate-Palmolive Experiential Learning Opportunity (ELO) Program, where he collaborated with industry professionals on interdisciplinary research projects at the company's Global Technology Center. This program provided hands-on experience in applying scientific principles to real-world challenges, enhancing his expertise in packaging quality control while gaining insight into industry practices and innovation!
Guangliang's paper on "Influence of surfactant on glass transition temperature of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles" was published!
The paper investigates the influence of surfactants on the glass transition temperature (Tg) of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles, a key factor in drug release behavior. The study compares the effects of polymeric surfactant polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and ionic surfactant DMAB on Tg under dry and wet conditions. The findings highlight the importance of surfactant selection in designing PLGA-based drug delivery systems.
Congratulations on a successful defense, Dr. López Ruiz!
