The main objective of this project was to reverse engineer a product and recreate the parts in Creo as accurately as possible. The Worx hand saw had many complex parts that were perfect for displaying vast knowledge of the Creo interface and the tools within. The project required each part of the saw to be meticulously measured before trying to duplicate the part in CAD. Each part was then recreated, assembled, and animated to display the inner workings of the saw's gears. Some of the most notable tools that had to be utilized were swept blend, simple sweep, revolve, extrude, project geometry, rib, pattern, and many more. Working in a team of three, my partners and I received the 2nd place award at the showcase event.
