For this part file, the task was to create a cotter pin, with the use of a family table. Now if i need a cotter pin of any dimension, I would just need to change the values within the family table.
This assembly demonstrates my extensive knowledge for creating large assemblies, with mates, and creating splines for the body shape. Along with the body shape created the wing from an airfoil standard website.
This part helps demonstrate the knowledge required to insert multiple standard metric and inch holes throughout an assembly, with variable threading.
This assembly was a very useful tool to demonstrate motion study analysis with SolidWorks. Assembly was very easy of the the parts. For the assignment, I had to graph the displacements, velocities, and accelerations for each legs round.
For this assembly, I had learned how to properly show and exploded view, create a background for rendering, and how to properly mate component parts that are supposed to be able to move.
When creating this part, the difficulty of designing it was within the multi-layer lofting of the part. Created each cross section using 5 different sketches.
Created a tire, with its own unique tread pattern. Then went on to create the tire rim with inspiration from other rims. Aluminum finish on the rim.
Standard support bracket create with the sheet metal tool with in SolidWorks.
