Lab / Facilities Developed

Prof. Chandan Chakraborty along with his team has developed 02 major institute facilities as Faculty-in-Charge (FIC) of Learning Resources Center (LRC):

(A) Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality (AR-VR lab) Lab

An advanced and integrated teaching and learning facility, popularly known as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR-VR) Lab, has been recently developed and inaugurated by Sri Sajjan Bhajanka, Chairman BOG, NITTTR Kolkata, Prof. Debi Prasad Mishra, Director, NITTTR Kolkata, Prof Dhanush Dhar Mishra, Ex-Chairman BOG, IIT, Dhanbad and Prof Tapas Chakraborty, Vice Chancellor, MAKAUT, WB on the Foundation Day (11-Jan-2024) of the Institute. 

The AR-VR Lab is well-equipped with VR headset, AR device (Smart tab), 360 degree camera, Unity Software and related gadgets. The aim of this lab is to assist technical support to the faculty members of the institute in providing / developing virtual models for respective engineering applications based on the domain expert's knowledge. (B) Smart Classroom Facility 

One Smart classroom well-equipped with advanced electronic gadgets viz., 85" Smart Panel, 55" LED TV, PTZ cameras, Wacom Tab, Sony AnyCast, WiFi-enabled AC room, desktop microphone for audience etc.  was inaugurated by Prof. Debi Prasad Mishra, Director, NITTTR Kolkata.
