About the Institute:

National Institute of Technology Raipur is situated in the capital of state of Chhattisgarh, India. It has proven to be "avant-grade' in the field of science and technology over past few decades in this region with the sweet memories of foundation ceremony by the first Hon'ble President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on 14^th September 1956. The institute started with two departments namely Metallurgical and Mining Engineering. Later the inauguration of the Institute building was done by our first Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru on 14^th March 1963. From 1^st December 2005, the institute is enjoying the status of the National Institute of Technology (An Institute of National Importance). It is well connected with Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Chandigarh by regular flights and is on the main Howrah-Mumbai railway route. The institute is on NH-6, the Great Eastern Road 5 km from the Raipur railway station and 18 km from Raipur airport.

About the Department:

Department of Civil engineering is the backbone for all types of developments. Department involves the application of scientific principles and knowledge of mathematics, theory of mechanics and application of computers to the planning, analysis, design and construction for all types of infrastructures.

Call for Papers:

Prospective authors from academicians, industry, researchers from scientific establishments and educational institutes are invited to submit their full length original, previously unpublished manuscript (not exceeding 8 pages including figures, tables, graphs and references) in springer journal format (.docx). All papers will go through peer review process along with plagiarism (<15%) check. Selected papers will be published in a scopus journal or in a book with an ISBN after presentation.
