We are very happy to welcome you to RASC-2025, a national workshop on Recent Advances in Scientific Computing, organized by the Department of Mathematics, NIT Kurukshetra. This workshop brings together students, researchers, and professionals from all over the country to learn about the latest tools and ideas in scientific computing. During the workshop, you will attend expert talks, take part in hands-on lab sessions, and meet others who share your interest in computational mathematics. We hope you find this workshop useful, enjoyable, and full of learning. If you need any help, our team is always here to support you.

Accommodation

• You will be staying in Hostel-11 (H-11).

 Location of Hostel-11 

Food arrangements

• • All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be served in the H-11 Mess.

  • Working lunch during the sessions will also be provided in the mess.

  • Please carry your ID card while entering the mess for meals.

• In addition to the mess, there are also canteens and food outlets across the campus where participants can enjoy snacks and refreshments at their own convenience.

• Kindly maintain discipline and cleanliness in the hostel and mess premises. Basic bedding will be provided. Please bring your own toiletries and other personal items.

Registration Instructions

• All participants must register at Department of Electrical Engineering on arrival.  

  Location of E-222 

• During registration, you will receive a Registration Kit, which includes:

  • Workshop ID card.

  • Schedule and other materials.

  • Stationery for hands-on sessions.

• Please wear your ID card at all times.
  
  

Lecture & Session Venues

• All lectures will be conducted in Room E-222, located in Department of Electrical Engineering.

   Location of E-222 

• Hands-on sessions will be held in the Soft-Computing Lab at Department of Mathematics. 

 Location of A-311 

• Please be on time for all sessions and carry your registration kit (especially your notebook and ID card).

General Reminders

• Please switch off mobile phones or keep them on silent mode during lectures.

• Respect the schedule and participate actively.

• Reach out to our volunteers or the help desk in case of any difficulty.
