My research work is primarily focused on understanding the physics processes in collider and neutrino experiments. I am involved in the CMS experiment at CERN, Switzerland, which collides protons with protons at TeV center of mass energy. The experiment has been hugely successful in establishing the existence of the Higgs boson. It is important for CMS to find BSM (beyond Standard Model) physics in the next decade or so. My involvement has been in flavor physics (B-meson properties) and the search for supersymmetry (SUSY) particles. I am also involved in neutrino experiments, such as NOvA and DUNE, with a focus on understanding the neutrino interaction cross sections, measurement of oscillation parameters, as well as some exotic phenomena (like finding magnetic monopoles using large neutrino detectors or the physics of cosmic rays).
