Ms. Brown is thrilled to be part of the Worthington Middle School Team as the Assistant Director of Choirs! She is in her 12th year of teaching and loves middle school students because "they are her people!" Ms. Brown holds a Bachelor of Music from Texas Christian University and a Master of Music from Southern Methodist University. She has had the privilege of teaching both high school and middle school student choirs in private and public school settings. Under Ms. Brown's direction, her choirs have consistently received Sweepstakes at UIL Concert & Sightreading Contest. She is known to many students as their "choir mom," because of how we bond through the process of making high quality music together! In addition to teaching, Ms. Brown is a professional cellist, who performs and records in various ensembles throughout the metroplex. She lives in Fort Worth with her sons, Ethan (15) and Aaron (12). They have the most friendly Burmese cats, Rocco and Chloe, who act just like the Siamese cats in "Lady and the Tramp!" Look it up to bring a smile to your day!
