Intro to Theatre

6th Grade Intro to Theatre

This class allows incoming theatre students to explore the world of theatre and introduces students to theatre terminology, auditioning basics and vocal training as well as giving them the opportunity to perform before a live audience. Students will also be expected to write their own monologues and design beginning stage sets.

Theatre 1

Theatre I is the perfect class for 7th or 8th grade students who may not have had previous theatre experience and would like try out the theatre world. It is also a good training ground for students who have taken 6th grade theatre, but would like to concentrate on play writing and fundamental skills. Students in this class will develop their auditioning and performance skills. They will perform in small group settings.
