Jessica Maus is an established Band Director and in her 18th year teaching Band. She started as a woodwind specialist that then worked to add a specialty in brass. Bands under her direction have consistent first division ratings at UIL and are competitive in the TMEA Honor Band competitions. Maus is a member of many Professional Music Organizations like TMEA, TBA, TMAA (UIL judge) and has been asked to give clinics at TBA and Sam Houston State University clinics for Band Directors. Maus has mentored many students who are now professional musicians, band directors, and various other professionals. 

She is excited to be part of the Tidwell Band Community! 

Ana Galdamez is in her 8th year of teaching Band. Mrs. Galdamez received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of North Texas where she studied euphonium with Dr. Brian L. Bowman and David Childs. She is a brass specialist who is also great at teaching woodwinds! Bands under her direction have received consistent first division ratings at UIL and are competitive at festivals. Galdamez is a member of both TMEA and TBA.
