What is Advanced Theatre?

This is our top tier acting course. In this class we will focus on advanced elements of characterization, expressive movement, vocal production along with the use of voice and diction. You will develop an advanced technical theatre vocabulary and explore all elements for putting together a large-scale production. There will be a strong focus on the rehearsal process and rehearsal effectiveness. In this course we will dive deep in exploration of careers and vocational opportunities in theatre. Students will produce at least one production, UIL OAP, in the spring. Placement in this class is determined by auditions.
