We know that by 5th grade, students have been in Elementary School for quite some time now and have grown accustomed to many different types of expectations.  Being the oldest class in our school, our 5th graders are held to even higher standards as they are now a model for the rest of our Daniel Dogs!

Daniel Elementary School has adopted a School Behavior Plan that students will follow throughout the building, outside at recess, and on field trips.  This plan has actually been adopted and followed by the entire Northwest Independent School District.  Your child will be held to the standards for different locations around the school based on the 3 following principles:

Students learn throughout the school year how to be safe, respectful, and responsible in all areas of campus.

We encourage students to ask themselves if their actions meet the criteria for everything they do while on campus and off!  As we are preparing these students for middle school next year, we are also helping them become productive and responsible students and people!
