COVID-19 has brought about sudden new challenges, and with these changes, one may experience anxiety and fear about the present and the future. While we may not have answers at this time, we can provide helpful tips, resources, and articles. Additionally, the Northwest ISD community is a strong community that supports one another, especially in time of need. While social distancing is a priority now, we can check on family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues via calls and web-based platforms. Help us look after one another during this time. This is a true social and emotional challenge, and although much is out of our control right now, we can choose how we respond to this challenge. We are here for you.

"We realize that many families are being financially impacted by COVID-19 and may be facing a time of uncertainty until we as a country collectively return to normal.
We are able to provide funding for essentials like rent, food, and utilities during this time of crisis. We are in this together."
Our organization may be able to bridge the gap for such families. MCFS is a non-profit children’s charity working for Texans.
In order to be considered, families simply need to meet 3 requirements:
1. Live in the state of Texas;
2. Have at least one child under the age of 21 living in the home;
3. Complete the application (click here) and return it to us at MCFS.
