Meet the Directors

Tyler Adcock

Head Choir Director, tadcock@nisdtx.org 

Mr. Adcock is beginning his 12th year as a music educator, ten of which have been at Pike Middle School.  Mr. Adcock is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Music Education, and the historic Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.

In Mr. Adcock’s time at Pike, the choir program has grown considerably to over 350 students.  Pike Choirs are frequent recipients of Sweepstakes, Outstanding, and Best-in-Class awards, and are substantially represented at All-Region and Solo and Ensemble Competitions.

In his spare time, Mr. Adcock enjoys watching sports (Go Stars, Mavs, Rangers, and TCU Football!), grilling, singing, traveling, eating at Whataburger, and spending time with his wife, Nicole, and his dog, Gracie.
