If this is your first year here at Lakeview, or you aren’t quite sure how it works, below is something information to help guide you:
Report Cards were posted this week in HAC (Home Access Center). Please contact the front office at email@example.com if you are needing your login information. The students can access their gradebook through their portal and have been taught how to check their grades.
What We Are Learning
**Please remember that students need headphones EVERY day in class.
ELA - We will begin discussing the difference between fiction and nonfiction books focusing on text features in nonfiction books. In writing this week we will begin planning about our favorite dessert. In grammar, we will focus on subject and verb agreement. The homophones will be: through and threw.
We will begin studying Flocabulary Unit 3. The quiz will be on Friday, October 29th. *Students were given ELA homework today. It is due on Friday. Students were reminded of the expectations for their homework.
Social Studies - We will learn about the Native Americans of Texas.
Math - We will work on division problems with and without remainders. Students will be reviewing fact families to help with their division as well. Please have them continue to practice their multiplication facts to 12 x 12. Homework was passed out today and is due Thursday, Oct. 21. Also, remember that 2 Imagine Math lessons are due weekly.
Next week, Students will bring home their test work and score from their Module 1-3 CBA this week. This whole packet will need to be signed and returned to school the next day please.
Science - We will be continuing our study of energy forms and how they transfer. We will be exploring with thermal energy next week.
