NISD Instructional Framework

The purpose of the NISD Instructional Framework is to provide consistent systems for defining the teaching and learning process. The NISD Instructional Framework identifies the structures necessary for high quality teaching and learning to occur. The Framework provides a clear picture of the district's vision of excellence in all classrooms for all students thus supporting all novice and veteran teachers. The Framework describes the evidence-based teaching practices/behaviors and the student behaviors that should occur in all NISD learning environments.
