Do you have a desire to show off your knowledge and be a part of a fun experience? Compete in a Star Event!
There are over 30 categories that a student can compete in! You prepare a presentation and present it to judges for a chance to advance in competition.
STAR events are competitive events in which members are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation, STAR Events offer individual skill development and application of learning throughout the following activities -

Regional Competition
Regional Competition
Region II Leadership Conference and Star Events are held in Waco at the Waco Convention Center. Students compete against all schools in our region for a chance to advance to State Competition. February 27- March 1, 2025
Conference Registration Fee: $42 an individual
Individual Competition fee is $42 per entry
Team Event Entry Fee is $53 (to be split among team members)

Students who make top 5 at Region advance to State!
FCCLA State Leadership Conference and Competition is held at Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Tx on April 11-13, 2025. Students stay overnight and get the full experience of a conference environment.
Students who make top 2 at State advance to Nationals.
Nationals is a high honor!
Nationals are in Washington DC on July 5-9, 2025.

Denver, Colorado
A team of students were top 2 in the state and got the chance to compete at FCCLA National Conference in Denver, Colorado. They were top 10 Finalists at Nationals! It was such an amazing experience and we hope to go back again.
