This year in writing and grammar, we will focus on 

• building strong sentence structure with Patterns of Power

• becoming strong writers by following the writing process

• developing our craft moves by referencing mentor texts

• applying new writing strategies

• writing in multiple genres, such as Personal Narratives, Informational / Non Fiction, Poetry and Opinion
