Ms. Martin
Jenny Martin is the school librarian. She loves to collaborate with teachers 189 days a year in her favorite Texas public school, Beck Elementary. Ms. Martin is also an experienced author and presenter who's appeared at many conferences, festivals, libraries and schools. Her first Young Adult novel was named one of Paste Magazine's and Teen Magazine's ˜Best Books of 2015." She loves mentoring bookworms of all ages and sharing a deep love of reading and writing with students at Beck.
Outside of the library, Ms. Martin enjoys spending time with her close-knit, Star Wars-obsessed, book-hoarding family. Her husband, Chris Martin, serves as a math teacher and coach at Byron Nelson High School. Their son, Conor, recently graduated from Byron Nelson High School and now attends Cornell University.
