This service aims to provide online platforms for access to NISU library resources. This method allows library users to reserve resources in advance of their visit. This service makes use of the NISU Main Libraryko Facebook page.

The document delivery service handles article and book chapter requests from journals, e-resources, printed books, and other resources available at the NISU Library. The library provides this service to provide information to each user remotely. NISU library users do not need to visit the library physically to access information; instead, they need to connect with the librarians to use this online document delivery service. This service is subject to the library guidelines and policies.

This service provides virtual assistance to library users with their information needs. This may include; answering Ready Reference Questions, providing Reader’s Advisory Service, and giving Bibliographic Verification. Guidelines:
The NISU library conducts library orientations to introduce library personnel, collections, facilities, and services. This is done ever y first semester to enhance information literacy by teaching library users how to locate and access the information they need quickly and effectively, including searching techniques and strategies. The orientation will be delivered through a video presentation.
Guidelines:
The NISU library provides a dropbox for returned books to accept book returns from library users in a strategic location. This initiative is implemented to quarantine borrowed books for three (3) days before checking them in and making them available for the following user to borrow.
Aside from providing reference services, the NIPSC library also caters to clearance signing for students, faculty, and staff.
The NISU Main Library signs clearances from Monday- Saturday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, except during holidays.

NIPSC Main campus Library supports the instructional and research activities of the College. The library provides this service to help the academic needs of students. This service is helpful for the library users who utilize the library resources remotely or those with limited mobility, specifically during pandemics. The library maintains a list of electronic resources which can be accessed through NISU official FB account. These materials aim to supplement the NISU library print holdings to avail of this service; users are advised to chat, call, or e-mail NISU Main Libraryko messenger.
he head librarian provides mentoring activities to all fourth-year students enrolled in these writing. It aims to guide researchers to find valid and reliable sources of information and the proper format for writing references.
Guidelines:
This service is available only to all bonafide students, faculty members, and staff of NISU; only 10% or less of the entire context of the book is allowed. For online requests of scanned copies of articles or chapters of the books, only 10% or less of the whole context of the book is allowed. Only the title page, table of contents, and abstract are permitted to be scanned for theses and dissertations. Print is strictly prohibited without author consent if the materials are protected by copyright law for reproduction.
NISU library provides Online Public Access Catalog. The Online Public Access Catalog is an online database of materials and resources available in the library. Before visiting the library, users can utilize the OPAC to check if the help they need is available in the library. Users can access the OPAC by going to library.nipsc.edu.ph and clicking the web OPAC icon or menu.
The library offers an online book recommendation service for students, faculty, and staff regarding materials required for their subject or research activities. Users of the library can send their requests via e-mail, chat, phone calls, and text.
The NISU Library is open to all registered students, faculty and staff who would like to avail its services. Borrowing privileges are only for those students, faculty and staff who have applied for a library card and for those who are currently enrolled.
