Biosketch

Dr. Pranav is a nanotechnology researcher with over a decade of research experience spanning carbon nanomaterials, chiral nanosystems, nanocomposites, and polymer nanofibers for biomedical and healthcare applications, including biosensing, targeted drug delivery, enzyme immobilization, and cancer/neurodegenerative disease theranostics. He is currently an Assistant Professor at NIPER Guwahati, having previously held faculty and postdoctoral positions at VIT Vellore, IIT Kanpur (DST-INSPIRE Faculty Fellow), the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, the University of Notre Dame, and IIT Indore. His current research is centred on the design of enantioselective (chiral) nanomaterials for diagnostic and therapeutic applications against melanoma and neurodegenerative diseases. He has authored 30+ peer-reviewed publications, 2 book chapters, and holds 3 patents, and is Principal Investigator on nationally funded projects worth over Rs. 95 lakh.
