CAS Lab was inaugurated by the director of the Institute Prof. Prathima Murthy, on 7th October 2024 at, the Clinical Neuropsychology Unit, Ashwini Block, NIMHANS.

April 2023 – fNIRS system acquired (with Dr. Keshav and Mr. Deepak)
Dec 2023 – First PhD conceptualized in collaboration with Dept of Neurosurgery:
“Effect of Virtual Cognitive Retraining Program on Neuropsychological Functioning & Hemodynamic Response in Traumatic Brain Injury: A Randomized Controlled Trial” (Rahul Joshi).Aug 2024 – MPhil Clinical Psychology researches (Abhishek, Athira, Devika) conceptualized; collaboration with Dept of Psychiatry
Dec 2024 – PhD collaboration (SHUT Clinic) and NIIR/DST dissertation.
July 2025 – Completion of 1 MPhil and 1 DM dissertation.
Aug 2025 – Two new M.Phils team members (Rupal, Srijana) and PhD pilot completion (Rahul Joshi).
Dec 2025 – New PhD thesis (Functional Neuroimaging in Drug Resistant Focal Epilepsy, Abhishek), DM thesis (Disorders of Consciousness, Dr. Kavya); collaborations with Dept of Neurology, Dept of Neuroanesthesia and Neurocritical Care, and Physiotherapy Centre.
