Successful completion of 23 credits as follows:
4 credits of English
4 credits of Math
Required: 1 credit of Algebra II or its equivalent
3 credits of Science
With inquiry-based laboratory experience which includes the following, or their equivalent
Required: 1 Biological
Required: 1 Physical Science
Advanced study in one or more of the following sciences, one credit: Chemistry, Physics, or other physical science, Advanced biology or other life science, Astronomy, physical geology, or other earth or space science
3 credits of Social Studies
World Studies
U.S. Studies
American Government
1⁄2 credit of Physical Education
1⁄2 credit of Health
1⁄2 credit of Financial Literacy
1 credit Fine Arts
6 1⁄2 credits are earned as electives
Earn a passing score on Ohio’s high school Algebra I and English II tests.
High school end of course exams are given to the students in the spring of each year.
Students who do not pass the test will be offered additional support and must retake the test at least once. These students may take end of course exams in the fall. Any students testing in the fall will be notified by their counselor with regard to their needed tests.
Earn two of the following diploma seals, choosing those that line up with your goals and interests. These seals give you the chance to demonstrate academic, technical and professional skills and knowledge that align to your passions, interests and planned next steps after high school.
