The first year of the READY project aimed to develop a centralised digital repository which would act as a 'one stop shop' for any health and social care professional in the West Midlands seeking access to training and resources to develop research skills. It had four key objectives:
Establishing a WM Strategic Partnership Group to promote and facilitate collaboration for research education
Mapping research-related learning resources in the West Midlands
Developing a centralised digital repository
Promoting equitable access to existing research-related training to support research capacity growth throughout the whole health and care workforce
