NIHR Hub and Accessibility

The following link will take you to the NIHR Hub's Accessibility Statement. The IS Function Team has also created guidance on how to apply an Accessibility Statement to your website, as well as creating an FAQ for further assistance.

Overview:

NIHR is committed to making its websites and provided applications accessible, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This accessibility statement applies to the NIHR Hub, which consists of a number of third-party applications. Each have been selected based upon their integration, usability and feature set.

The NIHR Hub is run by PA Consulting on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care. We want as many people as possible to be able to use the set of applications available.

Each of the Third-Party Accessibility Statement summaries are available through the tabs at the top of the webpage. Equally, the accessibility statement for this site can also be found in the same location. It's important to note that if you own a Google Site, it is mandatory to have an Accessibility Statement provided on your site. You're welcome to use the ready-made Accessibility Statement Template we've provided for you. Also included is an Accessibility Statement for this particular website. Please note this webpage is for information purposes only, with the aim of providing users with greater knowledge of Accessibility related information.

Reporting problems with an Application or Website:

We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of the NIHR Hub. If you have any questions or concerns about the accessibility of any of the products listed, or would like an alternative where accessibility needs are not met, please contact the NIHR Service Desk on hubaccessibility@nihr.ac.uk or on 0207 333 50 60.

Last Update:

This statement was initially prepared on the 20th September 2020. It was last reviewed on the 23rd April 2021. Testing of each of the NIHR Hub applications was completed by the provider themselves, with further information available on request.
