If you would like to express your interest in the Home Care Research Engagement Portal and RELEC, please complete the form
This web page is a hub for Home Care providers, researchers, and those drawing on Home Care services to engage in funded-research into issues affecting the Home Care sector.
We are piloting a forum where Home Care providers, university researchers and the public and users of services can find out about the current research in this sector. They can make the most of it by contributing to research that will have impact.
This idea for this portal came about through a Working Group of Home Care providers, people with lived experience, university researchers, Clinical Research Network staff, Home Care Association, Association of Directors of Adults Social Services (ADASS), and Institute of Health and Social Care Management (IHSCM) Social Innovators Group
Two Regional Research Delivery Networks (RRDNs) are collaborating on this pilot, East Midlands RRDN and North West RRDN.
If you operate outside of the two pilot regions, we will re-direct your expression of interest in Research to the regional EnRICH Lead for your area, who will contact you and support you with your research interest. Thank you.
Take some time to have a look at our Study Spotlight page to see examples of studies that are recruiting now, as well as some previous case studies you might be interested in.

The NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) supports participation in and recruitment to research studies in England. The RDN organises and supports the ENRICH network. This pilot Home Care Research Engagement Portal is aiming to do similar for the home care sector. It is supported through two Regional RDNs: East Midlands and North West.
There are existing Home Care Research Forums set up to discuss research ideas and projects and support home care providers in generating research in this sector, some of these have been involved in setting up this pilot portal:
