Direct Delivery Team

The Direct Delivery Team is dedicated to supporting the delivery of research across the East Midlands.

Our aim is to increase opportunities for individuals to participate in research, generating new evidence to help reduce health and social inequalities and improving wellbeing for everyone across the region.

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN) East Midlands Direct Delivery Team consists of 5 Hubs that cover the geographical footprint of the CRN East Midlands.

We provide research support to partner organisations and many other stakeholders, conducting NIHR research activities across the NHS, public health and social care, and Independent Health Sector Providers (IHSPs).

We work accross a number of different settings including: pharmacies, community centres, charities, dentists, prisons, hospitals, universities, hospices, care homes, opticians and more,

Here is some of the feedback that we have received from research teams we have supported:

It has been a genuine privilege to have worked with the Direct Delivery Team. All of you have provided fantastic work and have been willing to jump in and help where needed, often at a moment's notice.

The trial would have been infinitely more difficult without all of your input. We hope to be able to work together again in the future.

It has been a real pleasure to have worked with you and the entire team. Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure we achieved a great delivery on such an important project.

You will all be missed, you have felt very much a part of our team and we can not thank you all enough for the hard work!
