The UK Clinical Research Delivery Performance Indicators Report highlights national performance against two key metrics for commercial studies. Site level reports are also published.
We have summarised BHP performance for both commercial and non-commercial against the two key metrics:
Time to open (Number of calendar days from Site Selected to Site Confirmed) - this is the time to open a study - commercial national target is 60 days
Time to recruit (Number of days from Site Confirmed to First Patient Consented) - this is the time to recruit the first participant - commercial national target is 30 days
Whilst fluctuating, there is a downward trend across partners for non-commercial studies, with SWBH and UHB having particularly good performance. UHB has also consistently reduced commercial set up times year on year. This highlights partners commitment to government priorities and the BHP programme.
