Checking Out (12pm)

It is ultimately the responsibility of the host to ensure that the check out procedure is completed to a high standard. 

This is for the benefit of everyone using the Guest House facility, and the wider community.

Bathroom

✅ Squeegee down the shower after use.

✅ Scrub toilet with the brush and cleaning liquid provided.

✅ Use cloths and spray to wipe bathroom surfaces inc. toilet exterior.

✅ Sweep bathroom and main room.

✅ Take rubbish to the refuse room and reline bin. Ask your host if you need a fob for access.

Kitchen

✅ Wash and dry glassware, mugs and cutlery and return to tray.

✅ Wipe down surfaces with cleaning cloths and cleaning spray.

✅ Take rubbish and recycling to the refuse room and put new liners in the bins.

✅ Sweep out kitchen area.

✅ Use your hosts’ kitchen/dishwasher for any dishes.

Bedroom

✅ Wash bed linen, cleaning cloths, tea towels and towels in the communal rooftop laundry and hang them on the line. Your host can return them to the Guest House.

Note: if the next booking is the same day this must be completed by 12pm, otherwise this can extend to midnight of check out day.

Main room

✅ Turn off the heater and fan.
