Runners from around the world come to celebrate our great city for the TCS New York City Marathon. Through the Charity Partner Program of the New York Road Runners, members of our school community — parents, alumnae, and our professional community — have run the NYC Marathon with Team Nightingale since 2015.
Since 2017, Team Nightingale directs all proceeds to our sister school, Anpo Wicahpi, The Pine Ridge Girls School in South Dakota. As of February 2026, Team Nightingale has raised over $317,400 for Anpo Wicahpi. It is the first all-girls, independent school on a reservation in the United States, and it relies on a national donor base for its funding. This partnership was affirmed with two visits to the school in 2018 and 2019. We hope to bring another cohort of Nightingale students in the near future.

Runners for Team Nightingale will:
Commit to raise at least $3,000 by race day, November 1st, 2026
Pay their own registration fee for the race ($255 for NYRR members and $315 for non-members)
Share your commitment with friends and family through conversation, social media, email, etc. to raise awareness about our school and encourage support.
Have the experience of a lifetime on the streets of our great city!
Fundraising will directly support Anpo Wicahpi, the Pine Ridge Girls School with minimum fundraising goal of $3,000.
