The CSE Department endeavours to be an important Regional, National, and International Resource Center for the Development of Computing and IT Systems and Applications. The department is witnessing a period of exciting growth and opportunity propelled by the top ranking it achieved recently. CSE boasts a vibrant student body of about 500 undergraduate and 36 postgraduate students and a stellar faculty of Associate and Assistant professors. The department’s mission is to advance, evolve and enhance Computer Science and Computing Engineering fundamentals to build the intellectual capital of Research and Students.


The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) established in the year 2008 at Nigama is an evergreen and advancing field, with new ideas emerging every other second. From mobile phones to fiber optics and remote sensing, there are exciting avenues to explore and create. The ECE department at Nigama prepares students for careers in this constantly evolving discipline.

CSE Artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks. Most AI examples that you hear about today – from chess-playing computers to self-driving cars – rely heavily on deep learning and natural language processing. Using these technologies, computers can be trained to accomplish specific tasks by processing large amounts of data and recognizing patterns in the data.


The Internet of Things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects—“things”—that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet.


Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a continuously evolving subject. As technology has advanced, so have the challenges facing the modern engineer. A silicon chip containing over 100 million transistors in an area no larger than a postage stamp is yesterday’s news. EEE is a subject that naturally partners with other disciplines to open whole new engineering avenues. Examples include Mechatronics – with Mechanical Engineering, Bio-medical Sciences-with Medicine and Avionics-with Aeronautics. The EEE Department at Nigama prepares students in this field using new-age information and computer-intensive technologies.


The mission of M.B.A. Department is to set up higher learning standards to meet the needs of rapidly developing economy and to create awareness of present and future trends in business organizations. The department has a separate library consists of 221 titles, 1692 volumes, 3 national and 18 international journals.
