- This course encourages the students to work extensively with an array of hard and soft materials and indulge in their creative exploration to develop interesting structures and surfaces, which may be further extended to product applications.

- To enhance the students’ understanding of a diverse range of materials and engage in free-flowing explorations to fully realize the materials’ creative potential. - To learn various techniques and processes use to develop innovative material structures and surfaces. - To build the ability of suitably translating these surfaces and structures into product ideas thereby understanding the relationship between design concept and material selection.
