Definitely. The water fountains throughout the building will be shut off and not available for use. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle that they can fill throughout the day. The filling stations will still be turned on.
YES! The school does have a chromebook cart that is shared between all 4th grade classes as well as some in our classroom that are wiped down after each use, but any student who wishes to bring in their own chromebook is allowed.
Each student will receive a laminated copy of all logins and passwords for the various accounts they are set up for. Parents can email me at lantagnem@nice.k12.mi.us to get a digital copy as well. In the event of online learning, all parents will receive an email with this information.
There are resource sections posted on the Google Classroom page under the "Classwork" tab with links to any sites that students are asked to use.
Students can access our Google Classroom page from any device. Go to google.com and then click on the "Sign in" button. Students should sign in with their school email address and password. Once signed in, they can click on the apps icon and select Google Classroom. There is also a direction sheet with images under the Technology Tutorial tab.
-All assignment grades and comments that are completed through Google Classroom are sent to student gmail accounts. Parents are encouraged to view this account regularly with their child in the event that we have to switch to online learning.
