Welcome 8th graders! Please take some time with your family to review your four options for a world language: French, German, Latin and Spanish. The pages to the left will give you specifics on each language. Down below you can see a video on why (and why not) to pick a particular language. We all want you to find the right fit for you.

Seton Hall Project Acceleration

Since 1978, Project Acceleration, a concurrent enrollment program within the College of Arts and Sciences at Seton Hall University, has allowed high school students in New Jersey and New York to get a head start on their university careers. Over the course of their high school career, students can earn credits from Seton Hall University through approved courses taken in their secondary schools. Subjects include Mathematics, Computer science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Psychology, Political Science, Religion, Classical Studies, Sociology, History, Communication, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Latin, Greek, Japanese, Music, Art, and Education. The college credits earned through Project Acceleration are transferable to colleges and universities throughout the United States. There are currently 175 high schools offering Project Acceleration courses and approximately 3000 students participate each year.
