2021/2022 is our first year with Aeries as our Student Information System, and we realize that we ALL have a lot to learn. Keep in mind that even staff in Technology have a lot to learn with Aeries. With that said, we wanted to clarify a few things in terms of "how do I get support with Aeries?"
First, try to help yourself using the "Book of Knowledge". When on a page in Aeries, at the top right of every page is an icon of a Book with a question mark on it. This is a unique feature, also known as "context-aware help". If you're on a student profile page in Aeries, clicking this icon brings up help in navigating the student profile. If you're on an attendance page, clicking the icon brings up help for attendance. In many cases, your "how do I?" questions may be answered by the information provided via the "Book of Knowledge". Please try it out!
If the Book of Knowledge does not help you out, please turn next to our existing ITOP system and put in a support request. You can do this via the ITOP website or via your school or site's custom ITOP email address. The ITOP ticket will be triaged by Technology Staff and assigned to the person best able to help. In some cases, we may need to contact Aeries Support for help, and Technology Staff can initiate support cases with Aeries as needed.
