Cyber Mentors

What is a Cyber Mentor?

Cyber Mentors will be assigned to each family to provide consistent one-on-one support throughout the school year.

The role of the Cyber Mentor is to provide regular support to students, removing all barriers so students can be fully engaged and participate in all facets of learning. The Cyber Mentor will do the following:

• Serve as a family’s first point of contact beyond the classroom teacher

• Respond to family concerns and providing continuous support

• Assist student and parents with school platforms and digital tools

• Monitor student attendance

• Motivate students to achieve and engage in class

• Work with school systems (teachers, counselors, principals) to support students' needs in the online environment
