Newsela- Newsela is an online news-as-literacy platform that features high-interest articles on everything from current events to myths and legends and from literature to science. Users can choose a free account (which just features news and current events) or paid subscriptions that include daily news story updates and subject-specific products for ELA, social studies, science, and SEL.
*Articles are written in multiple reading levels (2nd grade - 12th grade) and many are offered in Spanish (Newslea makes differentiation and student choice a breeze).
*Newslea can sync to your Google Classroom account making assigning reading material efficient. (Be sure you join using your Google account (nhps.net) to enable this feature.

Librivox works with Project Gutenberg to provide free audiobooks. Public domain titles are recorded by volunteers and posted to Librivox for online listening, downloading, and burning.
