CnME is a curricular platform for developing life skills and 21st Century Competencies. ‘C’ refers to our school mission of nurturing Confident, Creative and Cultured Nanhuarians. ‘n’ refers to our school niche areas of Biculturalism, Sustainable Environment Education and Aesthetics Development. ‘ME’ refers to putting the Nanhuarian at the centre of our curricular decisions.

The CnME Programme is segmented into CnME-Core, CnME-Elective and CnME-Lite.

In CnME-Core, all Sec 1-3 students undertake 9 modules to gain a deeper understanding of the 3 niche areas of the school. The 9 modules are Bicultural Studies, Contemporary China Studies, Confucian Ethics, Translation Studies, Aesthetics Development, Sustainable Environment Education, Information & Communications Technology, Values in Action, and Leadership Development.

CnME-Elective comprises 20 modules designed by teachers that are offered to Sec 3 students. To broaden students’ learning experiences and ignite passion in learning, these involve out-of-curriculum exploration in areas such as forensic science, film criticism and investigating the pernicious effects of advertisements.

In CnME-Lite, students design their own modules to share their personal interests and passions with other Nanhuarians from the Sec 1, 2 and 4 levels. Examples of these modules include floral arrangement, speed stacking, calligraphy, terrarium-making, and drone-flying.
