CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION (CCE)
品格与公民教育
Our Character and Citizenship Education aims to nurture students who are grounded in strong moral values and equipped with competencies to lead flourishing lives in a volatile and complex future, especially with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 8 school values form part of the school heritage and what Nanhuarians learn about these values will guide them throughout their lives. We see values as the anchor of our CCE programme and domains of Positive Education as the pathways for students to live out the values and put them into action. This is a strength-based approach which enables both staff and students to combine the best of the East and the West. This is done by understanding the rich teachings of Confucius through the learning of school values, and then acting out the values through the domains of Positive Education. In this way, we build on traditional wisdom while still seeking innovation by leveraging current research in Character Education.
