I am so excited to have your student in my class this year!  This is my 23rd year of teaching at Winter Park.  I am a 🐬DOLPHIN 🐬at heart!  It is my goal as a teacher to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where all children are given the opportunity to grow, learn, and discover the world around them.

Third grade is a year of student independence and empowerment. Students are expected to be more independent in the classroom, and take responsibility for their study habits and performance. This year students will receive objective feedback on their learning via percentages and letter grades on assignments, and will be expected to prepare for quizzes and graded assignments accordingly. We will be setting both academic and behavioral goals throughout the year and making plans on how to achieve those goals.
